Netflix has released the trailer for the final 7 episodes of Katherine Heigl’s friendship drama Firefly Lane, which will return to screens on April 27. The show, based on the best selling novels by Kristin Hannah, follows the story of two best friends, Tully Hart and Kate Mularkey, from their youth in the 1970s to middle-age in the 2000s.

The second, and final season of Firefly Lane was split into two parts, with the first nine episodes being released in December 2022. The streaming platform had originally announced that the remaining episodes would drop on June 8, 2023, but Katherine announced on her social media channels in February that the date had been moved up to April.

The trailer, titled Firefly Lane: The Final Chapter, hints at answers to many of the lingering questions that fans have been waiting to see resolved, including whether Tully and Kate will reconcile after a major falling-out. With Kate’s cancer diagnosis, there is more incentive than ever for the two to renew their lifelong bond.
