Katherine Heigl was a guest on Live With Kelly And Ryan on Monday, February 1st joining hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest to discuss her new series Firefly Lane.

The interview began with Katherine explaining how she and her family have been dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, including the challenges of schooling for her three children: Nancy Leigh (Naleigh) aged 12, Adalaide who is 8 and four-year-old Joshua Jr.

Having spent a whole year at home for the first time since she was 16, Katherine revealed that she had taken up some new hobbies, including herbology and a garden greenhouse project which had resulted in a bumper crop of tomatoes. The only downside to the numerous fruits? The fact she had to harvest them all.

Discussing her new television series Firefly Lane, which premiered on Netflix February 3, Katherine explained how much fun it was to play her character (Tully Hart) as a 20 year old. The story follows the lives of two best friends across more than 30 years and is based on the best selling novel by author Kristin Hannah.
