Neighborhood House Dance Party
Neighborhood House Utah is a non-profit organization based in Salt Lake City, that helps support low income families by offering preschool, youth and adult day-care services. To help their programs and publicize their work, Katherine Heigl and her husband Josh Kelley recorded a video to support their virtual dance party event.
Every year for the past 11 years Neighborhood House has held backyard party to raise funds for their programs – Adult Day Services, Children’s Center, and Family Support Center. They have been providing services to the community for 126 years with the intent of promoting social justice by leveling the playing field of opportunities regardless of their clients’ ability to pay. This year, because of COVID-19 pandemic the event could only take place online. The fundraiser took place between August 29 and September 12, 2020, with patrons paying to watch the video.
